U.S. Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell will address the AFN Convention tomorrow.
According to a press release, Jewell plans to meet with Alaska Native leaders on a variety of topics, including subsistence fish and wildlife management, and opportunities for collaborative management of public lands and resources.
Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Indian Affairs Lawrence Roberts will also be at AFN to participate in a panel session about land into trust.
