Anchorage police have released the name of the man found dead Monday morning on a city road.
Police say 22-year-old Michael Miquann Mitchell was found dead at Mile 3 on Campbell Airstrip Road.
Police are investigating the case as a homicide. They have not released how Mitchell died. No arrest has been made.
Police say Mitchell’s body was found just before 8:30 a.m.
The road is the only route into Stuckagain Heights, a mountainside subdivision.
